Reliance Retail restructures management April 16, 2007

After being in business only 6 months, Reliance Retail announced that it will be changing the its management structure to a store based structure rather than its current vertical structure. The changes will be effective from May 1st 2007. The newly organized structure will have Bhavdeep Singh as the new Reliance Fresh head ; S Radhakrishna as the hypermarket division head, which is likely to be called Reliance Hyper Marts; and Ajay Baijal as the Reliance Digital head, which will be the company’s consumer electronic and IT brand.
